Woooooooah! Just finished working on a music project logo! Pretty happy with it. _ensnare_ is the chiptune side-project of Mode 7 Games musician nervous_testpilot. What a joy and luck it was to work on this. Hope we can collab again in the future!

Done a Fan Art for a very entertaining french video reviewer Joueur du Grenier. He has a refreshing style that is fun to watch in the ‘comedic game reviews’ genre. (He actually uses clever/witty jokes and it’s not just about swearing.)

The dialogue in the image is one spoken in the Dark Castle episode which really made me giggle madly (eyes bulging and all!) .

Kate Bush Painting Iteration Animation

I though I’d take the time to show a bit of how I work/learn.

This is a 40 hours painting I did during my lunch breaks at work back in 2008. It really only consisted of reproducing an image of Kate Bush using only the paint brush in Photoshop. While being not very “creative” project this allowed me to understand better the tool (Photoshop) while practicing my observation skills.

A great tip I’ve learned is this: keep iteration files.

This way you don’t lose anything if you need to revert back and you can do a nice animation like this!

Collab work with E.Papi

This past Saturday, instead of going to the usual aristocrat bar and drink low-fat milk, I did this collab work with my photographer friend Etienne Papillon.

Completed all the composite work. Was a good exercise to test out the old ‘shop skillz.

(Inspired by Riskay’s hit song ‘Smell Yo Dick’ .)

Re-Hello World!

It’s finally done! The old site has been reborn. (Ironically, out of all the places it could be reborn, it was inside a creatures mouth!).

I tweaked the navigation to make it easier to access different content with less clicks. There’s also the implementation of the FancyBox script. This script makes the images pop-up when you click on them. Real fancy y’all!

Also, the site uses WordPress to make this blog work! Niiiiiiccccceeee!
